| | 2. Runners and walkers must complete at least four races, one of which must be a 5K. Points from at least one 5K |
| | and the three other best scores are totaled for each participant. |
| | 3. Points are calculated by dividing distance by time (distance/time). For 5-mile and longer races, add 10 percent to |
| | the distance and convert to meters (8,800 for an 8K, 8,851 for 5 miles, 11,000 for a 10K and 13,200 for a 12K). |
| | Seconds must be converted to tenths of a minute: Distance/(minutes+(seconds/60)). |
