The Armory Bike Union began years ago as small program called Community Bikes which was a bike recycling and swap program. When that space and idea was outgrown the Armory Bike Union began to take shape. Now, three times per week volunteers enter our space to refurbish bikes generously donated by the community. Those refurbished bikes are then donated or sold back into the community to those wanting an inexpensive yet safe bicycle to ride for transportation, recreation, and fitness.
We aim to put more cyclists out on the roads in our community, but aim to do it safely. We host workshops and classes to teach proper riding techniques, use of helmets, and basic bicycle maintenance.
We are YOUR bike shop. If you are wanting to build your own bike from the ground up, tighten a loose bolt, or can’t tell the difference between a crank and a cog, we are here to help you learn. Visit us during shop hours to make use of our tools and equipment.
We always have bikes for sale. Come and browse our selection of bikes for all ages.
Take advantage of our work trade program! Log 10 hours volunteering for us and earn your own bike to fix up, free of charge.
