The Lupus Alliance of America will hold the 4t Annual Walk for Lupus on Sunday, October 5th.
The walk will be held at Ella Sharp Park. Registration will begin at 3:00pm and the walk will begin at 4:00pm. Walkers with pledges will receive a t-shirt. The walk will feature a light lunch, a raffle and silent auction. The proceeds will benefit the Lupus Alliance for programs, outreach, awareness and research.

 

 

 

To kickoff Mental Illness Awareness Week, LifeWays and the MindChangers will be holding a 5K Walk for Suicide Prevention on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at 12 pm.  The walk will be held at the Cascade Falls Pavilion in Jackson and will include a free lunch for all registrants.  Check-in will be from 11 am until 12 pm and the walk will begin at 12 pm with multiple routes marked to suit a variety of athletic abilities.  To register for the event and your free t-shirt by September 22, 2008, please visit www.lifewaysmco.com to download a registration form or call LifeWays Customer Services at (517) 780-3332 or toll-free at (866) 630-3690.
