News!
The weather didn't cooperate this year, but we still had dozens of
students who laced up their walking shoes and joined other students
from Jackson, England, and Australia to celebrate International Walk
to School Day. Join us next year!

McCulloch
parents and staff conduct walking audit.
Last May a group
of parents, McCulloch staff, and the Assistant City Engineer walked
the neighborhood around McCulloch looking for things that need to be
improved to make it safer to walk to school. A highlight of the day
was the entire school enjoying the beautiful day and joining in the
walk. Everyone had a blast!
The group found things
like incomplete sidewalks....

...and faded crosswalks.

loose dogs and large bushes overhanging the sidewalk.

The
team worked to install 12 new crosswalks, 2 new no turn on red signs,
and make changes to the parking lot. The team continues to work on
improvements.
