The Jackson School of the Arts, a nonprofit organization, was founded in 2001 with a vision to create a community where all youth have the opportunity to experience the arts.We offer year-round arts education classes. All of our classes are offered at little or no cost to the participants.  Fees are based on a sliding family income scale. Our programs are funded by the grants and contributions we receive from area businesses, foundations, individuals and the United Way of Jackson County.

Girl Quest of Jackson is an after-school asset based program that blends health/nutritional knowledge with personal/social development for girls ages 8-13. Girls train with female volunteer coaches to complete a 5k run.
